2.Calcium silicon not only has the ability to deoxidise, but also floats and discharges easily, improving the properties of steel and increasing its plasticity, impact toughness and fluidity.

3. Calcium silicon can be used in place of aluminium for final deoxidation. It has been used in the production of high quality steels, special steels and special alloys. For example, special alloys such as steel rails, mild steel, stainless steel and other nickel-based alloys, titanium alloys and other special alloys can be used as deoxidising agents for calcium oxide alloy.

Calcium silicon is a poly alloy which is rich in Si & Ca and the rest is trace elements such as Fe, Al, C & S. Calcium silicon is widely used in steelmaking, it is a good steelmaking deoxidizer, which can effectively treat the oxygen in the molten steel and reduce the oxides and impurities, improve the mechanical properties of steel and enhance the quality of steel.
